Where Noor's content comes from

Noor brings together Quran, recitation, Hadith and learning material from specialist sources. This page explains which organisations support each part of the experience.
Quran text, pages and Tajweed
Noor uses Quran Foundation and Quran.com services, including QDC, for Quran text, words, chapter information, Quran pages and Tajweed information. Quran page fonts are delivered through Quran Foundation services. QUL by Tarteel resources support IndoPak layout and Surah-name presentation.
Translations and Tafsir
Translations and Tafsir are supplied through Quran Foundation and Quran.com. The provider and translator shown in Noor can vary with the language and option you choose.
Recitation and word audio
Quran Foundation and Quran audio services provide word-pronunciation clips, recitations and word timing for supported reciters. MP3Quran provides selected additional recitation streams and timings.
Hadith
Hadith of the Day is delivered from a catalogue prepared on Noor's service. HadeethEnc is a source for that catalogue. This preparation is separate from source links in the app. Your device contacts HadeethEnc or Sunnah.com only when you choose the corresponding Hadith source link. Noor does not send an automatic background request to Sunnah.com for the daily Hadith.
Word learning
QuranEnc supplies selected Arabic word and phrase meanings. Quran MCP supplies word morphology such as roots and lemmas where it is available. These learning details help exploration and do not replace the Quran text.
Fonts and visual design
Noor uses typefaces selected for readable Quran, Arabic and interface text, including Amiri, Amiri Quran, Quran page fonts and the IndoPak typeface used for its matching script. Geist and Cormorant Garamond support interface and Noor brand text. Quran Foundation and QUL/Tarteel services provide some specialised Quran display resources at the time they are needed.
Noor's emblem, layout, colour themes and decorative artwork form the app's own visual design.
Speech recognition
Recitation practice uses the Apple or Google speech-recognition service provided by your device. Depending on the device, language and settings, the service may process audio online. Noor's native practice does not send the recording or recognised words to Noor. Read Apple's privacy policy or Google's privacy policy for information about their services.
Optional external guidance
When you choose Read more for Sajdah guidance, Noor can open an IslamOnline Sajdah guide in your device's browser. External pages have their own content, privacy information and terms.
Open-source notices
Noor is built with open-source software and fonts as well as app-owned work. Copyright and licence notices supplied with those components continue to apply. For a copy of notices relevant to your app version, email support@generatic.co.uk.

Provider and product names belong to their respective owners.
